Purple Red Coneheader

NOTES: The whole population of the Kolpakova river couldn’t tolerate presence of this fly in water. It took, with a confidence, Silver Salmon, Rainbow, Dolly Varden and Kamchatka Endemic White Spot Char (Kundzha). Cone-head tube flies are very well balanced flies. You may use quite a big single or double hook with them, which will be counterbalanced by the cone-head. The fly with a light hook will wobble in a good stream and that gives additional attraction to your lure. In slow current, the fly behaves like a jig going up and down when you retrieve.
